At the time of this vid megabox had some exciting features considering the ram limitations found in the linux alternate osusage you refer too namely adding dvr capability …this was based on freevo and improved emu play do to a light end gui currently I am not sure it is still supported megalandia project site appears down,,,,since there was alot of confusion how to install at the time i made a vid of the beta install,,,,

Actually, you can. It just depends. Older 80GB models are fully capable of playing PS2 games. Newer 80GB models had that function removed to cut costs which is why they’re around $100 than the first 80GB PS3s.
dude in it’s description it says “this DOES NOT WORK on the new 80gb ps3 and 40gb ps3.”
